PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in the Float Pool, providing care to patients across all Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors with a focus on the cardiac population. The RN will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and other cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Float to various PCU and IMCU floors as needed.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3-4.
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors.
• Care for patients in telemetry beds within the same unit, as required.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility is required.
• Availability for minimal requested time off (RTO).
