Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC) unit, you will provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries. The unit primarily deals with CV and vascular surgeries including open heart procedures, thoracic surgery, and related conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Epidural management
  • Chest tube management
  • Tube feedings
  • IV gluccomander
  • Cardiac gtt management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

Requirements:

  • Stepdown experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
