Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit will provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment, with a focus on those transitioning from intensive care to less acute levels of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit, including administration of medication, monitoring of vital signs, and implementation of treatment protocols.
• Float to ICU as needed in place of the 2East Intermediate Care.
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.

Requirements:

• 2 years RN Tele/IMC experience in a large facility and Critical Care experience required.
• Experience with ICO, Med/Surg, ventilators, and titration drips is preferred.
• Must hold a KS License, NHISS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
