Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to provide specialized care to patients. Responsible for managing the care of patients with complex conditions in a unit that focuses on cardiac and other progressive health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret vital signs
- Administer medications and intravenous drips
- Assist with procedures involving patients with arterial lines and bipap-airvo
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
- Provide patient and family education on care plans
- Float to lesser units as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of PCU RN experience
- Current RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and bipap-airvo preferred
