Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for PCU Oncology unit to provide care for adult oncology and trauma patients. The position involves 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend. Self-scheduling is offered, in coordination with unit requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult oncology PCU and trauma patients.
• Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units as needed, maintaining same level of care.
• Administer and titrate medications and drips, including Insulin and Cardizem.
• Utilize high-flow respiratory equipment and manage patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR system.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; strong PCU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred.
• Driver’s license required for compliance with a 50-mile radius rule.
• Compliance with healthcare facility policies, including fingernail regulations.
