Patient Population

The Progressive Care unit specializes in the management of patients with:

• Sepsis
• Heart Failure
• Hypertensive Emergency
• Respiratory Failure
• COPD
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Substance Abuse
• Encephalopathy

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Administering medications and heparin drips
• Monitoring patient vitals and conditions
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Providing education and support to patients and their families
• Documenting patient care activities accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
