General Information

• Number of Beds: 44 beds
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
  • Night Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 at grid, 5:1 stretched
• Type of Equipment: IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, chest tubes, trachs, patient lifts
• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years
• Skills:
  • Neuro and trauma care experience (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • Neuro and trauma care

Typical Procedures Performed

• Neuro and spinal checks
• C-Collar placement, TLSO braces
• Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions
• Lumbar drain
• Feeding tube placement
• Blood transfusions

Work Schedule

The position requires working every other weekend.

Dress Code

Uniforms must consist of navy blue scrubs.

Floating Areas

Potential to float to stepdown units and med-surg units as needed.
