Job Title: HI-Progressive Care RN – Varied Shift (08/24)

Job Description:

Provide nursing care in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit, with 3 step down ICU and 12 telemetry beds. Care ratios are 1:4 for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step down ICU. Schedule includes 36 hours per week following first week of orientation, with no guarantee of hours.

Responsibilities:

• Primary Nursing care
• Telemetry monitoring and telemetry strip reading
• Fingerstick blood sugar
• Floating to all acute units, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
• Current ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification preferred
• Must hold an active State of HI license by start of assignment
