Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, managing cardiac and nephrology conditions, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring. The role includes titrating drips and working under a charge nurse with support from patient care techs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage care for patients with cardiac, nephrology, and other conditions.
• Titrate medications such as Cardizem and betablockers.

Requirements:

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Driver’s license required for evaluation of radius rule compliance.
