RN – PCU – Staffing Pool

Job Description:

Provide nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit, offering medical surgical and/or step-down care for patients. Handle telemetry and monitor all patients required to be on hardwired bedside monitors, using the Cerner EMR system.

Responsibilities:

Deliver care in a Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1:5/1:6.
Participate in care for patients in an inpatient overflow unit with quick turnover.
Ensure patients are monitored using telemetry as required.
Float to other units if needed.

Requirements:

Telemetry competency
Progressive Care experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
Must adhere to scrub color/attire: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, or all white.
