Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care for adult oncology and trauma PCU patients in a 18-bed Progressive Care Unit. The role includes administering medications, managing patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. Nurses are expected to take part in hourly rounding and bedside shift reports.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix drips.
• Provide patient care for adult oncology and trauma patients in the PCU.
• Titrate Insulin and Cardizem drips as needed.
• Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units as needed while maintaining level of care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with respiratory equipment such as high-flow systems.
