Unit Highlights

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX, within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in renal care.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 – 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirements: Discuss during the interview
• Call Requirements: Discuss during the interview

• Number of Beds: 18
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Unit Staffing Description: Progressive Care
• Floating Policy: As needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU or ICU experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience with specialized procedures to be discussed during the interview

Patient Care Focus

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Specific requirements to be discussed during the interview
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; no artificial or gel nails
• Hair: Neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Tattoos: Should be covered when possible; individual assessment for those unable to cover
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited
