Shift: Rotating start times between 8am-11am, end time 8:30pm, 36hrs per week (9hr shift)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

A Registered Nurse is needed in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The nurse will work in both the Main PACU and CVI PACU and is responsible for monitoring recovery, administering medication, and ensuring safe patient discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ recovery from anesthesia and provide necessary care.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery.
• Coordinate care with other medical staff in the PACU.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of solid acute care hospital experience.
• Previous experience with at least 1 travel contract.
• Passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher.
• Critical Care PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Holds valid IL License, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
