Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) responsible for providing care to adult and pediatric patients in various cases including general, ortho, neuro, vascular, burn, Gyn, and ICU. Must be comfortable managing pressors, sedation, and vented patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure comfort and safety post-surgery.
• Manage ICU overflow when necessary and coordinate with ICU for recovery.

Requirements:

• 2 years of PACU and ICU experience.
• Must have Peds experience.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Licensed to practice as an RN.
• No first-time travelers.
