Unit Information

Location: San Antonio, TX

Unit Details:

• Number of Beds: 18 bays
• Number of Staff: 25
• Current Staff Composition:
  • Day Shift: 1 CNC, 11 RNs, 1 PCT
  • Night Shift: Currently 2 RNs on call, transitioning to full-time night coverage
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for the first 30 minutes or ICU level of care; 2:1 when stable
• Equipment: EMR – Meditech Magic

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

• Required Skills:
  • 2 years of PACU experience
  • ICU level of care competency
• Preferred Skills:
  • CPAN and TCAR certifications
• Best Personality Fit: Proactive and a team player

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Schedule

The position requires a schedule from Sunday to Thursday, 2300-0730. There is no on-call duty.

Dress Code

Navy scrubs are to be worn as per the dress code policy.

Additional Information

No floating to other areas is expected for this role.
