PACU/SDS Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated PACU/SDS Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the recovery process.

Shift Information

• Schedule: 4x10s
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call requirement: 7-10 call days within a 4-week period
• Every other weekend and holiday commitment is required
• No block scheduling available

Qualifications

• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• BLS certifications must be current and not set to expire within the next two years

Work Environment

This position is based in acute care hospitals located in the region. Travelers are welcomed, with no differing rates for local candidates.

Charting System

Experience with Meditech is preferred for this role.

Important Information

• All necessary background checks must be completed before starting. This includes obtaining Pennsylvania Fingerprints at an IdentiGO site.
• It is advisable to take care of fingerprinting as soon as possible, as locations may be limited.
• If there are any issues with background checks, results may take 7-10 business days to arrive by mail.
• Travelers may specify a different address for sending results if they will not be home.

Dress Code

Scrubs of any color are acceptable while working.

Work Week

The work week runs from Saturday to Friday, accommodating a variety of scheduling needs.
