Job Description:

This position assumes responsibility and accountability for providing nursing care for patients and their families. Assure expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care for patients and families is expected. Collaborates with providers, staff, and other members of the team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, overseeing daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Triages incoming patient requests for services.
• Delivers patient education to facilitate care plans and promote wellness.
• Delegates care appropriately according to Colorado statute.
• Handles high telephone volume of patient requests.
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures.
• Coordinates patient care with other practices and facilities.
• Delivers care by utilizing Relationship-Based Care.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
