Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and circulating for procedures in orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgeries.
• Monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures.
• Collaborating with surgical teams to prepare the operating room and maintain a sterile environment.
• Assisting in patient assessments and developing care plans in accordance with surgical protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical specialty.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Work Schedule

Schedule is from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with variable days based on operational needs.

Holiday Expectations

Must be available to work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as 1 minor holiday which may include the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
