Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with operating room experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures across various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedic, total joints, fractures, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and orthopedic spine surgeries.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) effectively to document patient information and care activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
• Competence in all mentioned surgical specialties is essential.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.

Schedule & Call Requirements

This position requires 10-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities. Expect to participate in 2 to 3 on-call shifts of 12 hours each within a 6-week period.
