Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the surgical care of patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Provide high-quality patient care in the circulating role during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and surgical interventions in the electronic medical record system.

Call Requirements

The position includes on-call responsibilities, averaging 4-5 weekday call shifts and 2-3 weekend call shifts each month. Ready access to the hospital is necessary, with a return time of 30 minutes or less expected following callback.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Experience with robotics, general surgery, gynecology, and urology is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in circulating roles is essential.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided. Familiarity with the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system is a plus.
