• Number of Beds: 24
• Number of Staff: 42
• Day Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Night Shift Staff: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5
• Type of Equipment: Standard unit equipment
• EMR: Cerner

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

• Current RN License
• BLS Certification

Preferred Skills:

• Chemo Certification

Typical Procedures Performed

• Occasional pelvic exams
• Echo and thoracentesis

Dress Code

• RNs: Navy, white or a combination of both colors

Unit Guidelines and Policies

Adherence to basic hospital policies and guidelines is expected from all staff.

Working Conditions

• Staff are required to work 6 weekend days per schedule.
• Rarely required to float to other units.

Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
