Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Day shift: 8 AM – 5 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized skills to provide care in an outpatient setting. The role involves direct patient care, including infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, and some wound care. This position offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with a small group of patients while performing general nursing duties in a rural environment.

Contract Details

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ONS Provider certification required
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Wound Care certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of infection control principles and patient safety techniques
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills in rapidly changing circumstances
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
• Ability to manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality
• Calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations
• Reliable and punctual work attendance
• Flexibility to accept additional duties as assigned
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
