Registered Nurse (RN) – BMT Outpatient Infusion

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will join a dynamic and growing team, providing clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population. The role involves administering chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.

Schedule

• Full-time (36 or 40 hours per week)
• Primarily weekdays with weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy
• Options for scheduling: 4, 10-hour shifts or 3, 9-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and coordination for patients undergoing Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapies.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and specialized infusions.
• Patient education and support regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Utilize independent critical thinking and multitasking abilities to manage diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Experience in hematology/oncology is required.
• ONC certification is required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
