Registered Nurse – Oncology (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oncology nursing and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (varies)

Location

Lawrenceville, GA

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care throughout treatment.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care options.
• Monitor patients for potential side effects and complications, providing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in oncology or a related specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Chemotherapy certification required; must be able to safely administer chemotherapy.

Holiday Expectations

Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
