RN – Observation Unit

Shift: Day 7a – 7:30p, every other weekend required.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN will primarily work on the 1S Observation unit but is also required to float to other Med-Surg units, including Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, and possibly the ED, if appropriately skilled or knowledgeable.

Responsibilities:

• Work on the 1S Observation unit and float to other Med-Surg units as needed.
• Work every other weekend with call being a rare occurrence.

Requirements:

• Current Epic EMR proficiency.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry experience, including the ability to read Telemetry/BCRA.
