Job Description:

This nurse plays a key role in observing patients’ physical conditions, providing basic nursing care, and assisting in early detection of potential health issues. General Observations Nurses work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure that patients’ conditions are regularly assessed and managed effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor vital signs, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
• Conduct routine physical exams and report significant changes in patient conditions to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions that may require urgent care.
• Adhere to hospital infection control policies and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Ohio nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year of travel experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
