Job Description:
Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit responsible for providing intensive care to newborns and premature infants with high acuity needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for neonates in a Level III-IV NICU setting
- Monitor and manage patients requiring respiratory support and surgical intervention
- Care for micro preemies and grower feeders from 24 weeks gestation and up
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive neonatal care
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a NICU RN
- Experience with Level III IV NICU and high acuity patients
- IL Nursing License, CPR, and NRP certification
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Flexibility to float to other NorthShore facilities
