Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the NICU is responsible for providing care for critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU setting. This role involves working in a 22-bed open concept unit with intermediate or more critical patients on one side and collaborating with the RN station centrally located in a ‘fish bowl’ set up.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license and certifications in BLS and NRP.
• A minimum of 2 years of NICU experience with Level 3-4 experience preferred.
