Job Title

SEASONAL – TRAVEL – RN – NICU

City/State: Wichita, Kansas

Shift: 19:00-07:00, Nights

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The registered nurse will work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing specialized care to critically ill newborns, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer IV treatments and monitor whole body cooling
  • Assist in surgical cases such as NEC, PDA, and CVC procedures
  • Support PDA ligations, high frequency ventilation, and chest tube care

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience
  • BLS & NRP certifications
  • Active KS licensure
  • Preferred: Level IV NICU experience
  • Preferred: Prior Meditech experience
  • Preferred: Experience traveling to large teaching facilities
