Job Description:
The registered nurse will work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing specialized care to critically ill newborns, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer IV treatments and monitor whole body cooling
- Assist in surgical cases such as NEC, PDA, and CVC procedures
- Support PDA ligations, high frequency ventilation, and chest tube care
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience
- BLS & NRP certifications
- Active KS licensure
- Preferred: Level IV NICU experience
- Preferred: Prior Meditech experience
- Preferred: Experience traveling to large teaching facilities
