Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides high-acuity care to micro preemies and neonates up to 24 weeks and older, some of whom are on respiratory support or require surgical interventions.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and specialized nursing care to neonates in Level III and IV NICU settings.
Monitor and manage infants on respiratory support and those requiring surgical care.
Participate in the care of grower feeders and manage high acuity cases.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a NICU RN in Level III-IV settings.
Proficiency in caring for infants born at 44 weeks gestation and micro preemies.
Current IL nursing license, CPR, and NRP certifications.
Familiarity with Epic charting system.
