Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for patients with varying levels of acuity, including micro preemies and high acuity cases. Responsibilities include managing patients on respiratory support and surgical cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for NICU patients including grower feeder and micro preemies from 24 weeks gestation and up
• Administer care to high acuity and Level III-IV NICU patients
• Document patient progress and care in Epic charting system
• Float to other NorthShore facilities as needed, with assignments communicated up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled shift

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years NICU RN experience
• Experience with Level III-IV NICU patients
• Licensed in Illinois with CPR and NRP certifications
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
