Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in the medical and surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will possess strong neuro experience and be well-versed in providing care for patients with both medical and surgical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with medical and surgical conditions.
• Utilize NIHSS certification to assess and manage neuro patients effectively.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate electronic health records using EPIC.
• Perform advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license and Nursys License Verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical/surgical specialty.
• Must have NIHSS certification included in the candidate profile.
• ACLS certification is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of neuro and med/surg nursing practices.
• Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as required.
