Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in medical/surgical nursing and neuro experience. The ideal candidate must be proficient in handling patients with neurological conditions and possess essential certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical/surgical and neuro patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• MUST possess NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing with neuro experience.
• Valid RN license with Nursys verification.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic health record system.

Work Schedule

This position requires weekend availability and does not feature block scheduling.
