Job Description:

Midwives deliver patients’ babies in either birthing centers, patients’ homes, or hospital settings. They provide emotional support and guidance before, during, and after labor. They also identify high-risk pregnancies and educate patients and their families on antenatal care and reproductive health.

Responsibilities:

• Triage all patients, admit, deliver uncomplicated vaginal deliveries, and perform discharges on non-cesarean section patients.
• Consult physician on complicated patients, perform operative deliveries, and round on those patients.
• Work typically 7 – 24-hour shifts per month; some days may include Fri, Sat, or Sun.
• Opportunities to see patients in the Women’s Clinic; primary purpose is deliveries.

Requirements:

• Certified AMCB
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, OBDNN certifications
• OK state license and OK DEA
