Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our MedSurg / Telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, focusing on both general medical and surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 10-bed admission unit.
• Manage patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ensure rapid turnover of patient admissions, maintaining a patient ratio of 5:1.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg or Telemetry nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• No work history gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist, references, certification card, and Nursys license verification will be required.
