Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a MedSurg / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be proficient in telemetry and neuro care, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg / Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ARC or AHA).
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg / Telemetry experience.
• Strong telemetry experience required.
• Proficiency with Meditech software is essential.
• Travel experience is required.

Shifts

This position requires work on day shifts, consisting of 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each), with every other weekend and holiday commitments.

Additional Information

Floating to similar units may be required, and a telemetry competency test will be administered on the first day of orientation.
