Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience with telemetry and a strong background in medical-surgical nursing. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to any changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable MedSurg/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Experience with Meditech software preferred.
• Ability to work nights, including every other weekend and holiday.

Additional Information

COVID-19 vaccination and 2024/2025 Flu vaccine are required prior to starting the position. A telemetry competency test will be administered on the first day of orientation.
