Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic MedSurg/Telemetry unit. This position will involve caring for general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting procedures in a 10-bed admission unit, where the patient load is expected to turn over rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Work independently while managing a patient ratio of 5:1.
• Perform rapid admissions and assist with care transitions.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurg/Telemetry specialty.
• Strong capacity for clear communication and independent decision-making.
• Complete and accurate work history, skills checklist, and references.
• Verification of nursing license through Nursys is required.
• All demographic information must be accurately included in the application profile, including a badge-appropriate picture.
