Clinical Nurse

Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. This role entails the ability to work independently and complete assignments based on established guidelines, including physician orders, standards of care, and hospital policies. Nursing duties encompass support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.

Licensure and Certification

• Must hold a valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Must maintain current valid certifications throughout employment in the following areas:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within six months of hire.

Shift Information

This position requires night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, encompassing three 12-hour shifts per week.
