Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves caring for patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, with a dayshift schedule and optional call during low census periods.

Key Details

• Shift: Days (7a-7p)
• Call: Optional during low census
• Holiday Coverage: Required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry.
• Step down experience is preferred but not required.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support/Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Equipment Used

• EMR: Meditech
• Pumps: Alaris
• Meds: Omnicell

Nurse-Patient Ratios

• Med-Surg/OBS: 1:6
• Step Down: 1:4

Miscellaneous Information

Please note that contracts may be canceled up to three times. Flexibility with call rotations during low census periods is essential.
