Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse in the MS/Telemetry unit is accountable for delivering comprehensive patient care using the Nursing Process, in adherence to state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires effective communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to ensure safe and high-quality care for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide care to patients in various clinical settings.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.
• Float between departments and various facilities as needed.

Schedule Requirements

Day shift positions available; must be able to work weekends as part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the MS/Telemetry setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

Patient Care Ratio

The nurse will operate under a patient care ratio of 6:1.
