Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg Tele unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift.

Location

This position is located in Rapides, LA. Please note that candidates must reside within a minimum radius of 50 miles from the designated location.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and any changes in condition accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg Tele nursing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
