Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our MedSurg / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care, particularly in advanced telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the MedSurg / Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making critical decisions and adjustments as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments including Cardizem and Insulin drips, as directed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling patients requiring advanced telemetry monitoring.
• Utilize EMR software, preferably Cerner, for documentation and patient management.
• Be prepared to float to various locations as required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Advanced Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS required.
• Must successfully pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia exam during onboarding with a score of 80% or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
