Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH). The successful candidate will be responsible for working in both the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) departments. This role requires proficiency in administering IV medications and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in both the ER and Med/Surg units.
• Administer IV medications and manage patient care effectively.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety and health protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Kansas or a multi-state license.
• Experience in both Emergency Room and Medical/Surgical nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with IV medications is essential.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring night shift availability from 1900 to 0700. The contract duration is for 13 weeks.

Location

This position is located in a Critical Access Hospital in Kansas.
