Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health and wellness strategies.
• Participate in patient rounds and care conferences to optimize treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Shift Information

Available shifts are days, specifically from 7 AM to 7 PM. Scheduling requests can be accommodated for up to 48 hours per week.

Location

This position is located in a facility situated in City, State.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records is highly desirable.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a medical surgical setting is required.
• Must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
