Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is essential for providing quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

The position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends.

Requirements

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Location

The role is based in Meridian, MS.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and relevant certifications.
• Experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
