Job Description:

This assignment is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Telemetry unit, where the RN will work primarily with medical-surgical patients, some requiring telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities include assessing neuro patients, managing epilepsy monitoring, and ensuring high standards of care in a high-paced environment. The RN will also participate in SIMs Lab training and demonstrate skills in sterile procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Neuro Acute unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes
• Collaborate with the medical team and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment

Requirements:

• Must have LEVEL 1 trauma experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Med Surg/Tele environment
• Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
• BSN preferred
• Must demonstrate ability to maintain sterile field in SIMs Lab
