Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Telemetry unit with experience in high acuity patient care, IV therapy, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes. This role requires working night shifts at a Level 1 Trauma facility.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor EKGs using Phillips Telemetry
• Care for patients with Gyn surgeries, pre liver transplants, ESRD, and diabetes
• Participate in SIMs Lab and orientation activities
• Carry out duties in accordance with unit policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Competency in maintaining sterile fields and IV therapy
