Job Description:

The Travel RN in the Medical Surgical/Neuro unit is responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care, including bedside shift reports and personal connections with patients and family members. The RN manages IVs, basic wound care, and surgical drains within a 20-bed unit utilizing Meditech documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care, including bedside shift reports.
• Perform tasks such as starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains.
• Collaborate with tech support available on day and night shifts.
• Engage in personal connections with patients and include them in their plan of care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Medical/Surgical experience, with the ability to prioritize care and multitask
