Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg

Unit Information

Join a fast-paced Med/Surg Ortho unit focused on providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

• Number of Beds: 29 beds (with overflow capabilities for a total of 39)
• Staffing Levels: Charge nurse, 8 RNs, and ACT on duty
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Type of Equipment: Remote telemetry
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Qualifications

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated candidates to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Must Have:
  • Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR

Typical Procedures

The unit typically cares for:

• Post-operative surgical patients
• Patients on cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin
